Gifted children need materials that allow them to work at their own level and pace and to move through the material in unconventional ways.

Algebra is the culmination of most elementary & middle school math programs. Typically, algebra is taught to strong math students in 8th grade and to mainstream math students in 9th grade. In fact, some students are ready for algebra earlier.

Time4Learning’s integrated algebra course allows students to start the sequence at two different entry points, to progress at their own pace, and to move ahead or back up at any time. We believe your child will benefit from the combination of student-paced instruction, interactive learning, and easy movement from level to level offered in our math courses.

### Algebra & Pre Algebra Curriculum Information

Time4Learning’s algebra course combines engaging lessons with a solid scope and sequence to ensure that a sound algebra foundation is laid. Inside the course, each unit starts with a multimedia lesson, is followed by interactive exercises, supported by printable worksheets, and followed up by an online assessment with the results available to the parents.

Algebra Lessons Include:
Simplify Algebraic Expressions : Students simplify algebraic expressions using algebra tiles.
Data Management : Organize data in frequency-tables, stem-and-leaf plots, bar graphs, and histograms.
Modeling Expressions : Students investigate representing and simplifying algebra expressions using algebra tiles.
