Homemade healthy chocolate

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 preset

No need to EVER buy another piece of chocolate again! I found an amazingly easy recipe, that we all can make. We have completely cut out refined sugar in our home, so this was definitely a bonus when I found this recipe for chocolate, made with NO refined sugar.  The recipe was adapted from this website, which is also a super awesome site to check out, especially if you are in to health and beauty.

3T cacao powder

2T raw honey

2T coconut oil

sea salt

Melt your coconut oil first, then mix in the cacao powder (not cocoa powder) and honey. Then spread mixture on parchment paper, which can be placed on a cookie sheet.  Place in the freezer for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt, when you are ready to eat.  You can add essential oils for flavoring, nuts, or any other desired foods.

*This makes a very small amount, so you will want to adjust your measurements for larger batches*
