holiday attire

I love this series that Sadie Sabin started over on her blog, simplysadiejane, called Holiday Party Dresses.  This one happens to be my favorite one so far (i’m not biased or anything), in which she is wearing our moto vegan jacket. The skirt is pretty amazing too.  It’s from Shabby Apple, you can find it here. If you get a chance pop over to Sadie’s blog and get inspired!

Come on, Fall!

blogblk cardiblog1cherry blossomdresstua top1We are anxiously awaiting Fall, here in California.  It’s been REAL warm.  I do like it, but at the same time, I also like brisk mornings and chilly nights.  That being said, Love Threads has a few new Fall arrivals, that are definitely worth checking out…

New arrivals!

Fall is fast approaching, and we are gearing up with a few new arrivals at Love Threads.  Also, keep an eye out for an upcoming handbag line that we will be talking about on here.  You won’t want to miss out!  If you are in Santa Barbara, you will have a chance to meet the designer.  Fun stuff, and we will keep you posted.

Until then, here are a few new items at Love Threads…

Chloe + Isabel

Chloe + Isabel is our newest sponsor.  They have some amazing jewelry, with so many easy to wear pieces.  Also, you can’t beat their prices!  I’ve known their rep Ruth for a long time, she is a doll.  There are so many great gift ideas. I know being a new mom it is nice to have the convenience of internet shopping and finding something REALLY cute, especially when you need a gift for that hard to find person.

Here are just a few pieces that I have my eye on…

Bohemian Rhapsody

Hi! It’s been REALLY quiet around here.  I’ve been enjoying our new little addition, and we have had family in town.  Life couldn’t be better.  I never knew something could bring so much joy to my life.  Wow!

Love Threads has also been busy with all of our new arrivals.  Items haven’t been lasting long, so I wanted to post some of our newest ones.  Bohemian seems to be the gist of this season.  I like it!

Shorts!

Short shorts are definitely making a come back.  If you don’t feel like you have short worthy legs, they always make for a cute pair of pajamas.  Love Threads is stocking up!

They also look cute paired with a military boot, or the popular Sam Edelman petty boot.  Something being added to the shorts this year are the pom poms. Done right, the look is great.  I’m not going to lie, I’ve seen some scary ones. Ha!

Here are a few pieces that have started to arrive…

kimonos

Kimono’s: There is something so simple and easy about throwing on a kimono. They make every outfit look stylish and fashionable.  I love throwing them on with jeans and a t-shirt.  It’s easy and you’re out the door in a minute.  Something we could probably all use a little help with.  They also make great cover-ups.

Love Threads just received a few different ones, and I love them all.  Here is a look at the newest styles…

California Love

My love for California changes all of the time.  Some days it’s too expensive, some days it’s just right, and some days I can’t make up my mind.  But, ultimately it really is a good place.  I mean, the fresh veggies year round, the weather is pretty much always warm, and the number one thing, the ocean.  Besides the one mild earthquake I’ve experienced, nothing REALLY is that bad. Oh and the people, I haven’t quite figured them out, but that’s ok, everyone is kind of in their own world anyways.

So to show our true love for Cali, and my new home, here are a couple fun tees and sweatshirts I brought into the shop…
